Foreman

As a Foreman at Lucania Contractors, you will lead and supervise a team of construction workers on various infrastructure projects. You will ensure the safety, quality, and timely completion of projects, working directly with project managers and subcontractors. Your responsibilities will include assigning tasks, managing daily operations, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company standards.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations on the construction site.

• Ensure all work is performed according to safety regulations and project specifications.

• Supervise and manage a team of workers, delegating tasks as needed.

• Report on progress to project managers and provide feedback on performance.

• Manage resources, tools, and materials to ensure project efficiency.

 

Heavy Machinery  Operator

As an operator, you will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining construction equipment such as bulldozers, cranes, excavators, and other heavy machinery used on construction sites. You will ensure machinery is functioning properly and assist with the efficient completion of road, bridge, and other infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy equipment including bulldozers, excavators, and cranes.

• Conduct pre-operation inspections and maintenance on machinery.

• Follow project blueprints and specifications to complete tasks accurately.

• Work closely with the Foreman and crew to complete jobs safely and on time.

• Maintain accurate records of machine use and maintenance.

 

Carpenter

As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures made of wood and other materials on various construction projects. You will work with blueprints and specifications to ensure precise measurements and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities:

• Construct, install, and repair frameworks, structures, and fixtures using wood, metal, and other materials.

• Measure and cut materials to the required dimensions.

• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to ensure accurate construction.

• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.

 

General Labor

General Laborers are essential team members responsible for assisting with a variety of tasks on the construction site. Duties may include moving materials, digging, cleaning, and assisting skilled tradespeople with their work. A General Laborer must be versatile, willing to perform various tasks, and ensure a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload materials and tools on and off the job site.

• Assist skilled workers with tasks such as digging, pouring concrete, and assembling structures.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

• Operate basic construction tools and equipment as required.

• Assist with the setup and removal of scaffolding and temporary structures.
